Joe McCarthy and the Faders came together in Brooklyn in 2015 to record a batch of songs that grew into their first album,
Step On, a heartfelt take on rock ’n’ roll.
In 2021Sean Patrick Kelly joined the original core members — Joe (guitars and lead vox), Joe Dahlstrom (bass, from Hot Knives), Abhay Singh (keys, from Teenage Afterglow) and Tom Barnes (drums, also of Hot Knives).
